Introduction
ImageEngine 4 is an easy to use browser slideshow for displaying artwork or photographs. It uses HTML, CSS and Javascript, and is compatible with all modern browsers. The design goal of the project was to create a useful, stylish image browser that can be configured without the need to edit any Javascript; all the configuration can be done by editing just the HTML and CSS components.
The HTML itself is as clean as possible, and complies with W3C Standards. Depending on your preference, you can use HTML 4, or XHTML; there is no inline Javascript and, for the most part, no need to make any changes to the Javascript file itself.
